MOHAWK / MANE


With C, *ch 4.

Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in ea remaining ch.

Repeat from * 4 more times.

Fasten off, leaving a tail of yarn for sewing.


TAIL


With A, ch 5.

Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in ea remaining ch.

Fasten off, leaving a tail of yarn for sewing.

Attach 2 small scraps of C to end of tail by drawing them through and knotting them.


ASSEMBLY


Sew arms and legs to body. (I did not stuff the arms or legs, but they might benefit from a little stuffing.)

Sew tail to rear of body.

Stuff snout with the stray ends of yarn and sew to head.

Place safety eyes on either side of snout.

Sew mohawk/mane to top of head.

Sew horns to sides of head and sew the ears just below the horns.

ASSEMBLY



With black yarn, embroider gills on sides of Body Top.


Place safety eyes just in front of gills and secure.


With white yarn, sew Body Top to Body Base, adding stuffing throughout this process.


Sew one fin to top of shark.


Sew one fin to either side of shark, beneath gills.


Sew two fins (vertically) to the rear of the shark to create the tail.


With white yarn, embroider teeth (just vertical lines in the example) somewhat randomly.
